Our only direct input into the text of the rulings is to clean up typos and/or clarify intent.
Rulings are collected from various official sources including documents published by The Pokémon Company International (including expansion FAQs), chat logs (from when Wizards of the Coast published the game), and private rulings meetings with The Pokémon Company International. This resource is compiled and published by Team Compendium, Inc. Background-only versions only contain the background of the army, but no gaming information.The Pokémon Trading Card Game Rulings Compendium is a compilation of official rulings from The Pokémon Company, International (TPCi) for the Pokémon Trading Card Game.This means that they should not change with yearly balancing patches: you can print them with more confidence.

"No points" versions have almost the same contents as full versions, but they do not contain pricing information (points). Full versions contain background about the army, as well as the whole army definition (rules, units, items, and points). 
In addition, the contents of files varies a little bit a well: They weigh 50 to over 100Mb, depending on the document. You can use them if you want to print the documents with a better output.

Online versions are PDF documents with a medium definition, designed to be lighter to download and view (notably on mobile devices). We deliver our Legendary Army books in several formats, to fit the best of your needs. While we do not have a Legendary Army Book for all armies yet, we work constantly to enrich this collection. Legendary Army Books are documents in which we provide an in-world view of the armies you can play in The Ninth Age: Fantasy Battles, with background context, illustrations and armies descriptions. Documents not matching the "x" and "y" of x.y.z_# version of the Rulebook are not considered up to date. Please note that when both Legendary and Slim books exist in the same version, either one is valid otherwise the one with higher version number takes primacy.
